چکیده
We carry out a numerical and analytic analysis of the Yang-Lee zeros of the 1D Blume-Capel model with periodic boundary conditions and its generalization on Feynman diagrams for which we include sums over all connected and non-connected rings for a given number of spins. In both cases, for a specific range of the parameters, the zeros originally on the unit circle are shown to departure from it as we increase the temperature beyond some limit. The curve of zeros can bifurcate and become two disjoint arcs as in the 2D case. We also show that in the thermodynamic limit the zeros of both Blume-Capel models on the static (connected ring) and on the dynamical (Feynman diagrams) lattice tend to overlap. In the special case of the 1D Ising model on Feynman diagrams we can prove for arbitrary number of spins that the Yang-Lee zeros must be on the unit circle. The proof is based on a property of the zeros of Legendre Polynomials. PACS-No.: 05.50.+q; 05.70.Fh; 64.60.Cn; 75.10.Hk

A General Theory of Lee-Yang Zeros in Models with First-Order Phase Transitions
We present a general, rigorous theory of Lee-Yang zeros for models with first-order phase transitions and derive formulas for the positions and the density of the zeros. In particular, we show that for models without symmetry, the curves on which the zeros lie are generically not circles, and can have topologically nontrivial features, such as bifurcation. Our results are illustrated in three m...

We present a general, rigorous theory of Lee-Yang zeros for models with first-order phase transitions that admit convergent contour expansions. We derive formulas for the positions and the density of the zeros. متن کاملGeneralized circle theorem on zeros of partition function at asymmetric first order transitions.
We present a generalized circle theorem which includes the Lee-Yang theorem for symmetric transitions as a special case. It is found that zeros of the partition function can be written in terms of discontinuities in the derivatives of the free energy. For asymmetric transitions, the locus of the zeros is tangent to the unit circle at the positive real axis in the thermodynamic limit. For finite...
متن کاملOn the commuting graph of non-commutative rings of order $p^nq$
Let $R$ be a non-commutative ring with unity. The commuting graph of $R$ denoted by $Gamma(R)$, is a graph with vertex set $RZ(R)$ and two vertices $a$ and $b$ are adjacent iff $ab=ba$. In this paper, we consider the commuting graph of non-commutative rings of order pq and $p^2q$ with Z(R) = 0 and non-commutative rings with unity of order $p^3q$. It is proved that $C_R(a)$ is a commutative ring...
متن کاملNon-hermitian tricriticality in the Blume-Capel model with imaginary field
Using finite-size-scaling methods, we study the quantum chain version of the spin-1-Blume-Capel model coupled to an imaginary field. The aim is to realize higher order nonunitary conformal field theories in a simple Ising-type spin model. We find that the first groundstate level crossing in the high-temperature phase leads to a second-order phase transition of the Yang-Lee universality class (c...
